Doing ethnographic research with autistic people with high support needs
Abstract
Bringing together academics, practitioners, parents, and autistic young adults (18+) to develop ethical and effective qualitative methods for including non-speaking neurodiverse young people in research. Featuring talks, posters, and hands-on activities to explore and test different approaches. I will be speaking about using ethnographic research methods to include autistic people with high support needs in research, including a Q&A. (Invited speaker.)
