Teaching for Every Mind: Embracing Neurodiversity in the Classroom
Abstract
In this Masterclass, we’ll go over: 1) what neurodiversity is, 2) why and how it can help you in your classroom, and 3) what neurodiversity-friendly and neuro-affirming support looks like. We’ll be talking about how this applies to a wide range of autistic people – from those with lower support needs to those with very high support needs – and how these principles might be applied differently depending on the individual person’s support needs and profile.
